Education Scholarship for Women in Business

Calling all Women Business Owners in the Triangle!

We are seeking applications for $6,000 in scholarship money to be awarded at our May 8th 2013 monthly meeting

(Applications will be accepted February 1st 2013 - March 20th 2013. Judging will take place in April and will be awarded on May 8th 2013 at the WBON monthly meeting)

Do you need training or new skills to grow your existing business?

The Women Business Owners Network of Cary is awarding THREE scholarships of $2,000 each to be used for any type of educational training, classes, certifications, etc. to improve the skills and knowledge you use in your business.

Applicants must:

Be a female business owner who either operates a business located in Wake County OR is an active member of WBON of Cary.
Have successfully operated said business for a minimum of one year by March 20th, 2013.
Articulate how the scholarship money will be used for their continuing business education.

Scholarship winners will be chosen by an impartial (non-member) panel and scholarship awards will be presented to winners at the WBON monthly meeting on May 8, 2013. Winners will also receive ongoing mentoring and a complimentary 1 year membership in WBON-Cary.
